Pricing and Policies
My goal is to create images that are unique moments in time that you will treasure for many years to come. My aim is to meet and exceed your expectations.
Preparing For Your Session
The following recommendations will help make your portriat session a success. Start at the end of the process! Think about where you want to display your final images. What size images will you want and how will they be framed? What color is the wall your image will hang on? After you have made those decisions we will discuss clothing colors, styles, and posing options. Generally, plain colored clothing works best, we want to highlight the people in the images not the clothing they are wearing! We will discuss your ideas and come to decisions together on how to create a session that will meet your needs.
Online Viewing
Your images may be viewed and ordered on the Website. If you request,they will be Password Protected so only you and those you give the password to may view them. The images will be posted for 30 days.
Session Fees
The Session Fee is $75.00 and is payable in full prior to the session.
Session Fees cover the cost of my preparation time, talent, and equipment use before, during and after the session. Post production work is also included in the price of the Session Fee.
I will spend 1-2 hours capturing images and there is no limit to the number of poses or images captured. Clothing changes are included. Any time over 2 hours will be at the rate of $50.00 per hour.
Session fees are not refundable, however I will work with you if our work together does not meet your expectations.
Post Production Policies
Your session does not end after the photos are taken. Processing of the images will include color correction, cropping, and uploading for viewing. Minor stray hair removal, wrinkle and blemmish reduction are included as are conversion of selected images to black and white.
Beach, Hunting Camp and Location Sessions
Many people like to conduct their sessions at the Missions, the Riverwalk, a hunting lease or at a local park. Some like to have the sessions in their homes or even at the beach! There are no extra fees associated with local travel. Any travel greater than a 50 mile radius from downtown San Antonio will require a travel fee. I base my fees on a rate of 40 cents per mile. Travel Fees to Aransas Pass or North Padre Island will be a flat $100.00, in addition to the $75.00 Session Fee.
Portrait Pricing
All images are printed with archival quality inks and on professional grade papers. I only use products that have been projected to last 100-300 years. There are several options for texturing and paper types from which you can choose.
I do not price images in packages. My philosophy is to leave the combination and number of prints you purchase up to you. There is no minimum of prints you must purchase.
Print Prices
Printed on your choice of Heavy Weight Matte Paper, Smooth Pearl or Premium Glossy Paper.
4X6 $5.00
5X7 $15.00
8 Wallets $16.00
8X10 $20.00
11X14 $45.00
Once you have selected the images you want, they will be shipped to you. S&H will be paid by the client. Taxes are included in the prices listed above.
Commercial Work
Pricing varies depending on the client's individual needs.
Cancellation Policies
Session fees will be refunded 100% if 24 hours notice is provided. Session Fees will not be refunded if you give less than a 24 hour notice. If an out of town Session is cancelled before I leave town, Travel Fees will be refunded.
If there is a fee assessed by the owner of any location you choose, you will be responsible to pay the fee and bring a reciept for that payment to the session with you.
Payment
Checks, PayPal and cash are accepted. A $25.00 Returned Check Fee will be assess on all returned checks.
Camera and Video Policy
No cameras or video equipment are allowed at sessions unless prior arrangements are made with me.
Copyright Policy
All images are the legal property of Joyce Ornelas and may be used by her for such purposes but not limited to publishing, editorial trade, or advertising. These uses may include publishing on the Web. If you do not wish to have you images displayed in these manners please let me know. In the case of Childerns Portraits or Boudoir Photography I will not publish any images without your prior written consent and approval.
Any unauthorized reproductions including scanning, copying in any form or printing off of my website are illegal and prohibited by Copyright Laws unless you are given a written release from Joyce Ornelas.
